Our Podiatry (chiropody) team aim to keep your feet working well for life. We try to achieve this by establishing and then addressing the core problem and offering you the advice to help yourself.

Chiropody treatments are available for:

• Corns/callus (hard skin)
• Blisters
• Nail problems (including thick or ingrowing)
• Verrucae and fungal infections
• Footwear and foot care advice

We offer specialist clinics for:

• Ingrowing toe nails - Nail brace techniques & Nail surgery
• Verrucae - Chemical treatments

Our specialist Podiatry team can help with:

• Mechanically induced foot and leg problems e.g. Flat Feet & Curly Toes
• Achilles tendon problems, Peroneal dysfunction, Tibialis Posterior dysfunction,
• Bunions
• Heel pain & shin splints, plantarfasciitis
• Knee pain
• Neuroma
• Weak ankles / recurrent ankle sprains

Podiatry involves:

• Assessment of mechanical foot and leg problems
• Assessment of gait (walking) and running styles
• Prescribing bespoke orthoses
• Footwear adaptation

The team works closely with our physiotherapists.
