10 unhelpful beliefs and 10 facts that will help your back pain

We wanted to share this image with you as we felt it did address a lot of the thoughts that our back pain patients arrive with. Understanding your back pain, what it will like / not like, and how to manage it is a huge part of quicker recovery and hopefully reducing the likelyhood of further episodes.

When you come to physio, educating you is an important part of our treatment plan, alongside manual therapy, exercises, taping, acupuncture etc. We can also utilise our massage therapist once you have completed your physio treatments, to ensure you continue to move normally and do not carry any residual tension in your soft tissues/ muscles.
